The Cat B15 Smartphone thrives on a challenge. It’s made of tough stuff – hard knocks, scratches, water and dust don’t bother it. It’s also very smart. It runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is loaded with features like Wi-Fi, an FM radio, media player and file storage can be expanded using microSD cards. The 5MP camera captures the action with one-press continuous shooting; or use video to get the full story with sound and motion.
The CAT B15 Smartphone is a waterproof rugged smartphone with Android Operating System for use in tough environments. The Caterpillar B15 can withstand water up to 1 meter for 38 minutes and has a 4inch capacitive touch screen with special wet finger tracking. The handset's corners are wrapped in rubber with the connections in between covered with anodized aluminum. The CAT B15 runs a super-clean, stock version of Android Jelly Bean (4.1.2), has a 4-inch WVGA screen, dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor, 512 MB of RAM, and a 5 MP camera.
The B15 uses 512MB RAM and features 4GB of native storage, although this can be boosted with the addition of a microSD card. It is designed to survive situations where other phones would smash or perish. The Cat B15 features a 4-inch WVGA 480 x 800p LCD screen with 4-point capacitive multitouch and Gorilla glass for increased toughness, held within a body finished in anodised aluminium and rubber suitable for outdoor life.
