The Getac Z710 is an fully Rugged Tablet running on Android 2.3. The tablets' processor is an OMAP 4430 Dual Core 1 GHz processor. The display is an 7 inch TFT LCD WSVGA display with an resolution of 1024x600.

The Getac Z710 Rugged tablet is perfect for utilities workers and pipeline inspectors. They are for their jobs challenged to work outside their offices for extended periods. They need mobile communication systems that can for example power networks or check data on pipelines. The Getac Z710 offers excellent mobility and is perfect for use in outdoor environments, it's easy to hold an use, while the docking connector makes it possible to use the device in vehicles.

For connecting to wireless networks (WiFi) the Getac Z710 has an WiFi 802.11 b/g/n chip, optionally you can order it with an built-in 3.5G WWANN port, which allows you to connect to the internet when no WiFi connection is available. When you want to for example send files to another device, you can do this via Bluetooth. The Z710 has an Bluetooth 2.1 chipp of class2. It also has an GPS chip, with internal antenna.

Except for default Android apps, the Getac Z710 comes with additional applications. Except for an improved File Manager, it also comes with an GPS-ECompass app, Barcode utility, Barcode Config app, and an RFID Reader app.

For taking a photo or recording a video the Getac Z710 Rugged tablet has an built-in 5 MP camera with auto-focus. This is also an HD Web camera.

The Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet is an rugged tablet which is IP54-certified, this means it is dust and water proof. The battery of the Motorola ET1 Enterprise tablet can be recharged and replaced with another one.

The ET1 Enterprise Tablet has an full-colour 7 inch touchscreen made of Gorilla-glass, thanks to the Gorilla-glass the tablet is 30% more stronger than regular tablets. The weight of the tablet is 630 Gramms (WiFi version) and 660 Gramms. (WWAN version)
